Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. Her parents were Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she immigrated to the United States. She gained notoriety for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from in 2020. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a series regular on Yahoo! After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents left antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She went on, however, to obtain an undergraduate degree in Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
